We speak of a vertical tasting when our intention is to compare different vintages of the same wine from the same producer. The goal is to evaluate the evolutionary potential of the wine in question and, at the same time, the producer's ability to handle the potential challenges of a vintage without altering the wine's identity.

The experience includes a winery tour, accompanied by one of the owners or an expert who will guide you step-by-step through your tasting.

Following this, a tasting of 4 Barolos from different vintages, supported by printed (and other) materials.

About the host

We are Denise, Serena and Valentina Marrone, together with our parents we run the family business in the Annunziata district of La Morra, in Piedmont, in the heart of the Barolo production area. We have always produced great wines, preferring quality over quantity.

For a few years we have decided to open the doors of our cellar to customers and friends to admire our beautiful hills from our Panoramic Terrace, taste our wines together guiding the tastings in a professional way (we are all professional sommeliers and Valentina is a winemaker, we speak English French and German, Denise is a licensed tour guide for visits to castles and tourist places) in a family environment, combining each wine with a traditional dish, 7 days a week and, with our new idea of ​​"Venerdì Agricoli", a couple of times a month even in the evening.

We organize cooking classes with our chef Paolo Garabello and Mamma Giovanna and walks in our vineyards to explain how much charm there is in our work and in contact with nature, today more than ever.
